Update- 04/09/2024 - another visit, more teeth pulled- and omg STILL THE BEST EXPERIENCE for even the most phobic of clients. Dr Nelson and his team were amazing, faced my terror and phobia with kindness, assurance, and humor. My difficult extractions (yeah- 2 teeth this time. Talk about twice the terror…) were painless. Yup. Painless! So still 5 stars. Would TOTALLY recommend even to those like me. Especially to those like me!!! I am terrified of dentists and oral surgeons, I’ve had absolute nightmare experiences in the past. I have to say that this was not one of them! The staff from the moment I entered, was kind, understanding, and patient with me. My surgeon and his assistant were great, had a great sense of humor, and my experience was totally painless! I swear this place was amazing, even for a terrified client, there was nothing to be afraid of!!! Best experience ever!

Two of my sons had wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Nelson. He was patient, positive, and effective. We were treated well. He is a confident and efficient doctor. I am very pleased with the service we received. As a minority, I often worry about the quality of medical treatment for my mixed family. I look closely for signs of racial bias when I do business. We felt respected, considered, and well-cared for at this practice. I appreciate that fully.

I put off having my wisdoms taken out for about 15 years due to crippling fear. I was finally at the point where I knew they needed to come out and although I was still very scared, Dr. Chaundhary made me feel at ease from our initial consult to the actual procedure itself. I had all four taken out at once this past Thursday with no complications at all. She is an excellent surgeon as well as a genuine and kind person. She empathized with me and helped me push through my fears. I would recommend her to anyone going through any sort of oral surgery! Thank you again for everything!

I've been postponing my 2 impacted wisdom teeth removal for the past 19 years.... out of fear. I finally went ahead and got them removed yesterday. Dr Nelson and his team are honestly the best! Had I known it would go so smooth, I wouldn't have waited. It took about 20 minutes and it was done! I did the IV sedation, was asleep the whole time, zero pain and barely any pain once the numbing wore off. 2 Advils did the trick! If you're like me don't hesitate any longer. The wisdom tooth pain I dealt with over all these years was soooo much worst then actually just removing them.

I am not a fan of dentist. I had to have a tooth pulled I was referred to Dr. Nelson. It was a great experience I ask to be put to sleep it was a great experience I sat in the chair at 9:07 and the tooth was out of my mouth and I was done at 9:20 no pain great experience i will def. Use this dental practice in the future. The nurses were great did a great job the whole way around thank you for taking care of me.

A BIG thanks to Dr. Chaudhary and staff. Very sincere and professional group. I have had 3 impacted wisdom teeth extracted over the last 3 years. A doctor in Frederick Md would not touch them, said 2 of them were too risky to remove. Dr. Chaudhary was cautious and willing. Making me wait until she said it was time. My family dentist warned me one wisdom tooth was going to be a challenge too. It finally had to be removed after swelling up with pain 2 am Christmas morning of all times. Two months later it was surgically removed. Thanks again Dr. Chaudhary.

I've had a couple procedures done here by Dr. Chaudhary, and could not be more satisfied. She removed a molar which had been crowned while I was in the military, but had developed decay, under the crown and was not able to be saved. On my most recent visit, she removed two broken teeth and installed three endosteel implants. She made me as comfortable as possible and ensured minimal discomfort. You won't find a better oral surgeon. I highly recommend Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Update. I went back in October, 2022, for two more implants to replace the two broken teeth removed three months ago. Again, very professional and I couldn't be more pleased.

If I could give this Oral Surgeon and Staff 10 stars I would!!.The staff and Dr Chaudhary allayed my anxiety by how? demonstrating Professional patient care delivery,. I am in the health care profession as an RN for 45 yrs, and they assessed my VS continuously telling me each step of the way what they were doing. You can "know yourself" if you are in the Medical Field however informing the Patient will always be a win-win solution for all !Also,my Blood Pressure decreased and Dr Chaudhary was on it with a NS Bolus , The receptionist and the Billing Dept explained my costs and communicated with me for Insurance Reimbursement(Thank you Cathe) My only regret is this::I wish they took patients for teeth cleaning and rt dentistry. I am grateful My dentist sent me there ,No regrets. they are all in that office knowledgeable and exude confidence to the patient which is essential.

Amazing experience. I went in to get 2 extractions (one simple, one surgical) due to an abscess (one of which being a wisdom tooth). To say I was nervous is an understatement as I’m diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. I was pleasantly surprised by just how kind and patient they were with me - every question was answered and they did everything they could to help me stay calm and comfortable. From when I was called back to walking out the door was only a half hour, with the actual procedure (after numbing) only taking about 10-15 minutes. The doctor was definitely a master as well, as I had zero pain during the appointment and no pain at all during the recovery process even without pain meds (I was prescribed pain meds, but did not need them). 10/10 Experience. Seeing these people got me over my phobia of the dentist. I cannot thank you all enough.

My dentist saw a small growth on the back of my tongue. He suggested I have a biopsy of it. Dr. Chaudhary was very helpful explaining my options. It was removed without any pain. The office staff was very professional.

Today I had my wisdom teeth extracted....I have never experienced and extraction, other than being on the opposite side and assisting with a procedure. I was super nervous, but the staff was kind and I knew I was in good hands. They even offered me a blanket! Dr. Nelson is awesome! He is very kind, and is very thorough when explaining things. Even tho I chose to be sedated, he made sure I was nice and numb!!! Here it is, almost 10 hrs later and I am just now regaining feeling in my lower lip and chin. As for the extraction sites themselves, they are beautiful (I know that’s weird to say) !!! I hardly have any extreme pain (though tomorrow could be different) my gum tissue isn’t inflamed and there is hardly any swelling! For a first time extraction it’s a 10/10 for me! I would refer this office to anyone and I they will be my first choice if I ever need anything like this again. Thank you, to everyone at the office!

I was referred to Associated Oral Surgeons in Hagerstown but they were completely booked for weeks. So, the referring dentist called the Frederick location and they were able to schedule me to be seen. I still had a bit of a wait but the day of the appointment I was completely set at ease. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted and the office was inviting. It did not have the " institution" vibe like the Hagerstown location. I was seen by Dr. Nahla Chaudhary. I cannot say enough good things about her She was kind, and very patient with me and understood my anxiety. Let's just say we had to get my blood pressure under control before any work could be done but once that happened ... things went well. I wanted to thank her personally after the procedure(s) but she was very busy. Hopefully she and her staff will see this review . Got my two bottom wisdom teeth out yesterday. I lose my insurance in 2 weeks, and thankfully they were able to fit me in before then. Nahla Chaundry performed the procedure. Everyone at the office was very professional and kind. I went in terrified, and the nurses did a great job soothing me. When I started balling, they put my IV in right away to knock me out. 😂 I've had little to no pain so far. Everything seems to be healing, and I should be able to go back to work tomorrow. I was worried for nothing. I will definitely go back to this office if I ever need any more extensive dental work.

The staff was very friendly. Dr. Forbes and his assistant was very friendly and professional. They were very good with my 7yr old son. They were able to get him in the same day due to a cancellation. The only thing I wish they would reconsider is allowing the parent to stay in the room while the procedure is being done. They were very fast so I didn't have to be away long but I would have liked to stay with him to comfort him. I would definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Forbes.

I had a great experience getting my wisdom teeth taken out today. The staff are quick and polite, and had no issues with the surgery. However on the way home I noticed that my phone screen had been cracked. It was in perfect condition before the surgery... I had taken my jacket off and placed my phone in it's pocket and handed it to the assistant/nurse who was prepping me for the surgery. She watched me place my phone into the jacket pocket and took it away. I did not notice where she put it, nor do I remember putting my jacket back on afterwards. Something happened during the last portion of prep and my waking up that damaged my phone. I have called them within an hour of leaving the office and have yet to hear back from them. I want to know what happened, I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt and say it was an accident. Edit: I have recieved a call back to discuss the cause of damage to my phone, and was inconclusive. I was recovering from anesthesia, so I have no recollection of the half hour after waking up. I do not know at all how my phone broke while or after I was unconscious. Nonetheless, the extraction and recovery has been great. Thank you

There was no pain, the Dr. and her assistants all so sweet and a great bedside manner. I could laugh and joke with them like I had known them forever. The staff wore their facemasks correctly. The office limited customers in the waiting room. The receptionist was friendly. I was greeted warmly, led back to the surgery room. I absolutely love Dr. Forbes! He rocks. The nurses have also been wonderful the past two visits. Dr. Forbes is a no nonsense person. Basically get in, does it right and has great skill. I have had two deep rooted extractions done. I only do numbing. So I’m awake to hear and somewhat feel it all. Again never pain just noise and pressure. He is fast! Keep up the great work. I was able to get into the office for a consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed. I didnt have a referral but luckily they were scheduling a few weeks out so not a terrible wait to get into be seen. All of the office staff and providers that I encountered were friendly and professional. I was able to schedule my surgery for 1 week after my consult. Removal went well and now I'm on the road.to recovery. Would definitely recommend this office to others.

In an emergency wisdom tooth situation I was referred here from dentist nearby at Cornerstone dental and they did an amazing job! Life saver! & They take Delta dental! Very polite and friendly staff. Treated very well here. Will be coming back for another appointment to remove my other 2 wisdom teeth soon! They have most definitely earned my trust! I'm not from this area but most definitely highly recommend! If I ever need any type of oral surgery again I'd most definitely come here & if not, pleasure to have chosen them to take out my wisdom teeth! Very lucky to have found!

Dr. Forbes and his staff were amazing. He did an extraction and implant. He really knows how to keep you relaxed. He's got a great sense of humor! His support staff were wonderful too. The procedure took 1.5 hours and went smoothly thanks to the great team! I would Absolutely recommend Dr. Forbes & his team !!!! BTW... Someone in my office went somewhere Else and had an extraction and implant ... He was swollen, black and blue... Looked like he got punched! With Dr Forbes, you could barely tell that I'd had a procedure done ... Just minor swelling. He's Amazing!!!

Dr. Forbes and his staff were very friendly, professional and did a great job cutting out all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth. I had way less post-op pain than I expected and I was going about my normal business by the next day. I had been dodging this surgery for almost 10 years because I was scared, but it really wasn’t bad at all and I wish I’d have just done it sooner. It was also nice to get a personal call from Dr. Forbes himself tonight after-hours to check up on how I’m doing. Thank you!
