Meet Dr. Pike
Dr. Pike received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1980. Following graduation he practiced general dentistry and community dentistry in the Charleston, WV area.
Dr. Pike then went into a General Practice Residency from 1982-1983 at the CAMC in Charleston, WV. After completing the program, he accepted an associate professor position at West Virginia University and directed the GPR program and Hospital Dentistry program.
In 1984, Dr. Pike accepted a position at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry as director of their GPR Program and was active in Hospital Dentistry and Dentistry for the Disabled.
Dr. Pike then went into the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed the four year program in 1991 and remained for an additional year as a teaching Fellow.
Dr. Pike has been in private practice in the Hagerstown, MD and Martinsburg, WV area since 1993, where he practices a full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Pike has additional interest in Sleep Medicine, Oral Medicine, Implant Dentistry and Anesthesia.
He is a member of the advisory board at the Hagerstown Community College for dental assisting. He is at present a member of The West Virginia Board of Dentistry’s Anesthesia Committee.
Dr. Pike believes in the office mission statement of providing the best quality oral surgery in the region.
