Meet Dr. Forbes
Dr. Forbes was born in Freeport, Bahamas and raised in the Turks & Caicos Islands and South Florida. He attended Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Prior to completing residency training at West Virginia University School of Dentistry and serving as Chief Resident of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, he completed internships at the University of Maryland Medical/Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore MD and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA.
Dr. Forbes practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and with particular interests in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, maxillofacial trauma/reconstructive jaw surgery, alveolar cleft reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery, Botox, microneurosurgery, and benign head and neck pathology.
Dr. Forbes resides in West Virginia and is on staff at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with his family.
